THE ORGANIZATION: The National Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Its H.E.R.O. (Health-Education-Rescue-Operations) Program provides a public service dedicated to stopping the killing of cats and dogs. Pet overpopulation is a people problem and we have the solution. Traditional animal control is primitive and inhumane. Animals must not be born to die. THEY DESERVE BETTER.

The National Humane Society's Clinic on Wheels is a self-contained state of the art surgical, mobile facility that reaches communities where people do not have the financial means to obtain veterinary care. It also benefits neighborhoods with high incidents of animal control problems, homebound seniors, and low-income owners.

Millions of tax dollars are spent each year to control and eliminate unwanted animals. "Animal Control" is nothing more than an "Animal Waste Management System" and the National Humane Society wants to change the way the public perceives and deal with this problem.

Your support makes the Difference, without you many will die.
