The National Humane Society's mission is to save the lives of orphaned animals and eliminate euthanasia as a means of population control.

We are committed to establishing a no-kill community- euthanasia is not a viable option. We will never waiver in our pursuit to make the world a better place for all living beings. Our animal support programs include disaster relief, adoptions, pet therapy, senior services, with special attention on spaying/neutering.

THE ORGANIZATION

The National Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Its H.E.R.O. (Health-Education-Rescue-Operations) Program provides a public service dedicated to stopping the killing of cats and dogs. Pet overpopulation is a people problem and we have the solution. Traditional animal control is primitive and inhumane.

Animals must not be born to die. THEY DESERVE BETTER.
