Volunteers Needed
Our volunteers are the lifeline for these orphaned animals. Thanks to your help we can provide a safe haven for injured and abused animals. By volunteering your time and talents, you can make a profound difference in the pet over-population problem.

You must be at least 16 years old and have a soft heart but a strong desire to help these animals in need. Please contact us at 813-269-2567 if you would like to volunteer.
Adoption Center
Volunteers needed to assist potential adopters, walk pets, clean pet areas, and assist in the adoption process at our outreach facility.
Phone Volunteer Program
Volunteers who are homebound or those unable to volunteer on a regular basis are need to work by phone to help follow up adoptions, volunteer coordination, and event follow-ups.
Animal Professional Needed
We can use the help of local veterinarians and vet-tech for our low-cost spay/neuter programs. Plus, NHS always needs pet groomer who will volunteer their time to bath and cut orphaned animals.
We need people like you to volunteer!
