Welcome to the National Humane Society

"Community Service Center for Pets"

The Humane Society (4039 Gunn Hwy) is dedicated to the spay/neuter of pets, along with adoption of cats and kittens. This non-profit organization is run by volunteers alone and is always in need of any extra volunteers and donations.

We aim to make a difference.

There are millions of cats and dogs, slaughtered annually because of overpopulation. This encourages us to fight for them, allow them to live their life and not create more of the problem.

Our Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Days will now be posted under Upcomming Events, so please be sure to check them out!

Baxter

Poor Baxter!
Recently, one of our own needed some expensive veterinary care...

Our lovable Baxter ended up in the Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Service needing some major attention. He needed a tube placed in him in order to eat and be given the fluids he needed. Now, Baxter is doing much better, however his veterinary care has cast a hard blow to our funds! Now we're calling on the public to help us pay for the cost of Baxter's bill. The end payment for the care was $417.61, and we're hoping for donations from the public. Baxter is doing much better and is becoming his old self again. We knew Baxter was worth every penny we spent to help, we hope you do too.
